On the altar of yielded consciousness
\nnothing less than the sacrifice of Truth<\/p>\n

is fitting before You, Most High, Creator.<\/p>\n

Shaper and Maker of minds and mouths,<\/p>\n

yet You force no\u00a0praise,<\/p>\n

for such a thing would be false and foul.<\/p>\n

Here we bow, into the depths of soul and consciousness,<\/p>\n

searching among the clutter of our trouble and treasure,<\/p>\n

sometimes finding only neglected tears,<\/p>\n

and dreams we\u2019ve never dared speak aloud
\nexcept in Your presence, only You.<\/p>\n
