Minister Jesse Barfield
Minister Jesse Barfield, a native of Inglewood, California, was spiritually raised at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church under Pastor Emeritus James Lobdell. Though not Lutheran ordained, he holds a Baptist preaching license and shares the Gospel regularly in Lutheran congregations.
A former football player and devoted Detroit Lions fan, Minister Barfield brings passion and clarity to his preaching—always aiming to make God’s Word understandable and impactful for all. He has a deep heart for youth and young adult ministry, and his greatest joy is being a proud father to his son, Jesse IV.
Minister Barfield’s mission is to preach the Gospel in a way that draws people in, stirs praise, and gives God thanks in everything.
